Have You Ever Felt Spiritually Neutered?

I struggled with this for the first half of my life.  I didn’t have a word for it other than ashamed.  I grew up being taught that we should share Jesus with others.  And while I totally understood it and wanted to – I couldn’t. 

Being transgender can so complicate your life.  For me this was a LIFETIME secret I had to keep when I was younger.  A boy who wants to be a girl?  That goes beyond being a freak.  That’s just so not normal that you don’t tell ANYONE about that because you don’t know what will happen to you if you do.  This is something that gets locked down deep inside – it gets a special room in your heart that you don’t share with anyone.
